Content and Moderation Rules

Version of · effective upon publication

What must not be posted in Vitrina activities, prizes and posts, how the team reviews activities and what measures it takes against violators.

This English version is a translation provided for convenience. If it differs from the Russian version, the Russian version prevails (clause 13.4 of the Terms of Use).

1. General provisions

1.1. These Rules apply to any Content in the Service: names and descriptions of channels, activities and prizes, images and videos, posts that the bot publishes in channels, tasks, codes and links.

1.2. These Rules supplement the Terms of Use, the Organizer Terms and Telegram’s rules. The Operator decides at its discretion whether Content complies with these Rules.

2. Requirements for activities

2.1. An activity must have clear and truthful terms: which prizes are offered, how to participate, until when, and how to receive a prize.

2.2. Prizes must exist, match their description, be lawful and available for delivery. The value and quantity of prizes are stated honestly.

2.3. Hidden conditions, payment for participation or for receiving a prize, and requests for excessive personal data are prohibited.

3. Prohibited content

The following must not be posted or offered as prizes:

  • gambling, betting, casinos, lotteries and betting services, as well as advertising of such services;
  • narcotic and psychotropic substances, their analogues and precursors;
  • weapons, ammunition, explosives and their essential parts;
  • alcohol, tobacco and nicotine products — to persons who may not receive them and in forms prohibited by law;
  • prescription drugs, and dietary supplements with false claims;
  • sexual content and sexual services;
  • extremist and terrorist materials, calls for violence, hatred and discrimination;
  • financial pyramids, MLM schemes, “easy money” offers, and cryptocurrencies and tokens outside Telegram’s rules;
  • phishing, malware, requests for passwords and login codes;
  • counterfeit goods, pirated content and other materials infringing intellectual property rights;
  • personal data of third parties without their consent;
  • political campaigning and materials related to armed conflicts;
  • false or misleading advertising and advertising without mandatory labeling;
  • impersonating another person, Telegram or Vitrina, and using others’ trademarks without the right to do so;
  • anything prohibited by the law of the country of the Organizer, the Participants or the Operator, or by Telegram’s rules.

4. How moderation works

4.1. The Vitrina team reviews activities, including manually, to prevent fraud, abuse and breaches. Activities proposed for the Vitrina home feed undergo a separate review before being shown.

4.2. Moderation may be preliminary, subsequent, complaint-based and automated. The Operator is not obliged to review all Content and is not responsible for Users’ Content.

4.3. Following a review, the Operator may:

  • approve an activity or its display on the home feed;
  • refuse display on the home feed, or limit display or participation in cross-promo;
  • require the activity to be corrected;
  • delete Content;
  • suspend, stop or block the activity;
  • restrict features, block the account, channels and linked accounts.

4.4. The Operator is not obliged to explain its decisions, but if you ask, it will try to explain the decision and suggest what to fix. Decisions on display on the home feed and in collections are made at the Operator’s discretion and do not imply a breach.

5. Complaints and appeals

5.1. To complain about an activity, a prize or an Organizer, write to the manager @vitrina_manager. Right holders may also send an infringement complaint to info@vitrinarandom.com, attaching proof of their rights.

5.2. A moderation decision can be appealed in the same way, with supporting arguments. The Operator’s second decision is final.

6. Liability

6.1. The User who posted Content is responsible for it. That User shall compensate the Operator for claims and costs related to that Content.

6.2. The Operator may unilaterally amend these Rules; a new version takes effect upon publication on vitrinarandom.com.
